Today we are under the 3rd major snow storm of the season and we haven't recovered from the last. The was still about a foot or so left of snow before today when we got another 18 in. The snow was up to my son's best friend's waist (she is 8). My son didn't want to be out in it once it got that deep. Trying to walk the dog is a comedy of errors. Watching her try to figure out where to put her butt so it doesn't touch the snow and got to the bathroom. I guess snow always seem worse than rainy days. At least on a rainy day, I could or would go to the store to run an errand. In snow, I don't want to be out driving. The people who are out do not seemed concerned about the dangers of the road. Taking my son to school yesterday, the roads were still a little snow covered not too bad but this guy behind me was following me so closely I was afraid to try to stop to quickly. Is it that the danger doesn't seem real to them or that they think that an accident won't happen to them? I am not going to speed on slick roads with my 9 yr old in the car, that is just stupid. The guy behind me actually tooted his horn at me. Stupid people make me mad!
Sorry for venting
Sleep well,
Tina
